The traditional comfort food of a restaurant has been updated with this Open-Faced Tuna Melt Sandwich!
Ingredients:
- 4.5 ounce can tuna (in water), drained
- 1/4 cup carrots, minced
- 1/4 cup minced celery
- 1 tbsp red onion, minced
- 1 tbsp light mayonnaise, Hellman's Light
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 slices 2% reduced fat cheddar or American cheese
- 2 slices tomato
- oil spray, I used my Misto
Instructions:
Step:No:01
Tuna, celery, carrots, onion, vinegar, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper should all be combined.
Step:No:02
A big skillet should be heated on low heat.Step:No:03
Drizzle a skillet with oil, then add two slices of bread.Step:No:04
Place cheese, tuna salad, and tomato on top of the bread. Cook over low heat until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.Step:No:05
