Best Buffalo Chicken Pizza Rolls

These bite-sized appetizer or snack buns are loaded with buffalo chicken pizza flavor. It's the perfect balance of cheese, chicken, and Buffalo sauce—not too saucy nor too hot. A fresh take on a traditional combination, the ranch butter sprinkled on top provides another layer of herbaceous taste.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup shredded cooked chicken
  2. 2 ounces low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded (about 1/2 cup)
  3. 2 1/2 tablespoons Buffalo-style hot sauce (such as Frank’s® RedHot)
  4. 1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  5. nonstick cooking spray
  6. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  7. 1 teaspoon ranch dressing mix
  8. ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing, for serving

Instructions:

Compile every component.

Step:No:02

In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the chicken, mozzarella, and spicy sauce; put aside.

Step:No:03

Using a rolling pin, lay out the dough to a 6 by 20-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Make 8 3x5-inch rectangles out of the dough.

Step:No:04

Lightly mist the dough's edges with water. In the center of each rectangle, place 1 spoonful of the chicken mixture. Form a 3 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch log by rolling the dough over the contents. To seal, pinch the sides. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with paper.

Step:No:05

For two minutes, heat an air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Spray cooking spray on the air fryer basket sparingly. In batches, arrange pizza rolls in a single layer around the perimeter of the air fryer basket. Cook for approximately 7 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step:No:06

In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix and melted butter while the pizza rolls are cooking. Once cooked, brush seasoned butter over the pizza rolls. If preferred, serve with ranch dressing.
