Although they cook rapidly, these crispy salmon croquettes are created with fresh fish. Fresh parsley, red bell pepper, and onion give the filling a wonderful flavor. Tasty as an appetizer served with a side of tartar sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless salmon fillets
- ½ cup baking mix (such as Bisquick)
- ½ cup diced onion
- ¼ cup diced red bell pepper
- ¼ cup freshly chopped parsley
- 1 large egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ¼ teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay)
- ⅓ cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Use a food processor to finely chop the fish.

Place the salmon in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until thoroughly blended after adding the baking mix, onion, bell pepper, parsley, egg, garlic, Worcestershire, seasoned salt, and seafood seasoning.Step:No:03
Using a waxed paper-lined plate, shape the mixture into 8 tiny patties. Give the patties fifteen minutes to chill.Step:No:04
In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. To ensure the cornmeal sticks to all sides of the patties, place cornmeal into a shallow dish and roll each patty in it.Step:No:05
Working in batches, fry burgers in the oil for three to four minutes on each side, or until golden and well done.
