Simple Macaroni and Cheese recipes

A quick, simple, and delicious mac and cheese recipe. When you have so many pricey cheeses, making a fancy, designer mac and cheese can cost forty or fifty dollars, and the results aren't necessarily the best-tasting. This easy meal is delicious and inexpensive.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 (8 ounce) box elbow macaroni
  2. ¼ cup butter
  3. ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  4. ½ teaspoon salt
  5. ground black pepper to taste
  6. 2 cups milk
  7. 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Heavily salted water in a large saucepan should be brought to a boil. Boil the elbow macaroni for 8 minutes, stirring every so often, or until it's cooked through but still firm to the biting.

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat concurrently.

After adding the flour, salt, and pepper, whisk for five minutes or until smooth.

Slowly pour in milk, stirring all the time. Make sure the milk doesn't burn as you cook and stir the mixture for a further five minutes or until it's smooth and bubbling.

Stir in the cheddar cheese for two to four minutes, or until it melts.

After draining, toss the macaroni with the cheese sauce until it's coated.

Enjoy while hot!
